This is another of our favorites. Since she has freshened this year, she has developed a lot of depth in her body that the Lakeshore herd carries. Her udder has totally exceeded my expectations with her 3rd freshening. It has height, width and a beautiful medial. Her teats are plumb and she is so easy to milk. We would have like to try to finish her this year, but she develop goat polio after the Little Rock show. So that ended her show quickly. Maybe next year!

The first two things I noticed about Sugar is her dairy character and her long ears. She stands on strong feet and legs. Sugar is a long doe with great depth in body. She is smooth from her neck into the shoulders with sharp withers. Sugar has a wide chest floor and a smooth front end. This girl has a great body with an AWESOME udder. Her udder has a great texture to it, very soft and smooth. She has great attachments with lots of medial. She has medium teats with big orifices, making her an easy milker. Sugar earned her milking star as a first freshener. What else can I say about her! Well I guess we can go on about her. Her second freshing is just incredible. We are so excited to have this doe in our herd. Watch for her in the ring!!

Tanna freshened on Feb. 2 with an udder that is just socked on. Her udder texture is so soft that it makes it a pleasure to milk her. Each time we milk her, her capacity has increased. We will see what her second freshening will bring. I am hoping that she develops a little more body capacity with the next couple of freshenings.

Eli has really wide udder that has really good attachments. I would really like to see her teat placement a little closer in. But she is just a first freshener so we will see what happens on her next freshening.
